Gallery Announces Condo Auction

The Gallery Condominium LLC recently announced the auction of all their remaining units through AMP Auctions.

The auction will take place on March 5th, at 5pm. The auction will be held at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Seattle. Minimum bids start at $175,000 for open, one-bedroom units.

Amenities include concierge staff, roof-top deck, owners lounge, sky lounge, yoga and fitness center.

Condos have beautiful slab granite or microcrystal countertops, stainless-steel appliances, high ceilings, large windows with views of the Space Needle or Elliott Bay and hardwood floors.

Burgeoning Rental Market Drives Apartment Developments

2011 is predicted to be a big year for developers with over 20,000 apartment projects nationally, and even more in 2012 and 2013. This national increase in multi-family housing projects is reflected locally with several new apartment projects approved, under construction or nearing completion. Here is an update on some of the projects coming together in the Seattle area.

1222 East Madison: Developers Wallace Properties and Baylis Architects are beginning demolition to make room for a mixed-use building with 106 apartment units.

Capitol Hill Housing: Capitol Hill Housing begins construction in May on a 40-unit project at 12th & Jefferson.

19th & Madison LLC: Renewed permits and possibly construction beginning soon on a 131-unit mixed-use building at 19th & Madison.

Stone Way Village: A mixed-use building with 154 units at 40th & Stone Way begins construction this month.

Avalon Bay Communities: Avalon Bay Communities has purchased a development in the University District for a new apartment complex.

Plymouth Housing Group: Plans for an 84 unit project at John St & Pontius Ave in South Lake Union District.

Precinct Development: City of Seattle and Capitol Hill Housing are meeting to discuss the transformation of an East Precinct parking lot into a mixed-use development.
